At Redeemer we practice covenantal membership as we seek to fulfil the Lords commands to us as His people. Outlined here are the steps within our membership process for any who wish to consider joining Redeemer.
Membership
1
Membership Classes

We invite everyone to participate in our two-week membership class.

-
Week 1: We discuss the foundation of membership, exploring why it matters.
-
Week 2: We focus on the function of membership, explaining how it works within the local church.
These sessions also provide a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about Redeemer.
3
Membership Interview

Each prospective member will meet with a pastor to discuss their membership and continue building a relationship.

The discussion will center around the answers provided in the membership form. This meeting helps the pastors get to know each potential member better, allowing them to understand how best to serve and care for them.
It also provides another opportunity to ask any questions about Redeemer.
2
Membership Form

After completing the membership classes, those who wish to proceed can fill out a membership form.

This form provides an opportunity to learn more in-depth about Redeemer’s beliefs and practices while also allowing you to share some information about yourself.
4
Membership Sunday

The final stage of the process is recommending the individual to the other members. The new members will then be publicly welcomed during a Sunday service.

During this time, all members will also be invited to reaffirm our church covenant toward one another.
